West Bank stabbing

A Palestinian man was killed after stabbing two Israeli soldiers in an attack in the West Bank. One of the soldiers is in critical condition.

On Wednesday near the West Bank settlement of Shilo, a Palestinian man was shot dead after stabbing two Israeli soldiers on a main road.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the attack in a Tweet.

According to news reports, one of the men suffered serious wounds to his neck and had been taken to a hospital.

The attacker was shot dead after the stabbings. A spokesperson for IDF was quoted by the AFP news agency as saying that the attacker had been killed by IDF forces.
