Welcome to Bonn! Enjoy the city at its best!

February 23, 2012

Bonn is a centre of international dialogue. Not just because Deutsche Welle is there. A dozen United Nations agencies are based in the city on the Rhine.

More than 100 international institutions and non-governmental organisations work there. The city hosts several "global players" of German business. Some 50 high-profile, globally networking science facilities operate in Bonn and its immediate neighbourhood. Important agencies and some ministries of the German government are located in the former German capital. Bonn offers a wealth of sights, rich cultural variety and a broad range of cuisines. With the picturesque Rhine Valley, the Seven Hills, extensive woods and parks, vineyards and castles the Beethoven city and its environs delight the tourist. For large events quality hotels and the World Conference Center Bonn (WorldCCBonn) meet the highest demands. The city is readily accessible by car and train. Cologne/Bonn airport is just down the road.
