Skoda is the biggest exporter in the Czech Republic and a subsidiary of Volkswagen. 1.2million Skodas have to be recalled because of the emissions scandal at VW. But the Czechs are not worried, they see the scandal as a German problem.
German police have taken Porsche manager Jörg Kerner into custody, amid concerns that he could flee the country. The emissions scandal has spread from Volkswagen's core VW division to many other brands.
