Summer isn't summer without a trip to the seaside. And with Germany's rough weather patterns, DW's Courtney Tenz explains why her favorite seaside spot is inside the haven of a hardly translatable "Strandkorb."
This time, Discover Germany visits Heidelberg, Hamburg, Kassel, the Bavarian Alps and the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn.
Travel destinations are Weltenburg Abbey, Kelheim, Regensburg, Eltz Castle, Düsseldorf and the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde.
