Direct flights between Ukraine and Russia have been grounded as the two countries exchanged sanctions against their respective airlines. Travelers between the two countries will now have to fly via a third country, take the overnight train or drive.

A journalist with dual Russian-Ukrainian citizenship has been charged with treason in Ukraine. Authorities raided the offices of RIA Novosti the Russian state-run news agency. He is expected in court on Thursday.
