Farming is mostly done by women in Uganda. The social enterprise KadAfrica trains girls without schooling to become passion fruit farmers. With their program, founders Eric and Rebecca Kaduru hope to empower women in rural areas.
A Ugandan project is giving girls who dropped out of school a fresh start growing passion fruit. With a piece of land and 60 seedlings, these young women are well on their way to becoming successful farmers.
