Two German military Tornado fighter jets crashed in mid-air while flying over the northern state of Schleswig Holstein on Wednesday, police reported. Two of the four people aboard the jets managed to parachute to safety, but two others were killed in the accident. The planes crashed in a field near the city of Garding on the North Sea coast. Flight experts are examining the wreckage to try and determine the cause of the crash, said a military spokesperson.
