A storm system moving across the southern and central United States has killed at least six people. There were multiple tornadoes in the states of Mississippi, Tennessee and Indiana. Dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed.
A weather system that moved across the Midwest and eastern US created damaging tornadoes and left massive flooding in its wake. The storms are moving into the Atlantic Ocean.
Several more people have been killed as multiple tornadoes touched down in Texas. Other parts of the region have been reeling from violent storms that have led to numerous deaths.
Several consecutive days of severe weather systems have resulted in more than a dozen tornadoes across a number of US states. At least 14 people have died during the storms.
At least 11 people have been killed after severe storms hit several southern US states, damaging homes, cars and businesses. Forecasters have blamed unseasonably warm weather.
