Police in Berlin have said that two bags of bullets found near a Christmas market in western Berlin had no link to terrorist activities. The munitions were uncovered in an underground car park.
Relatives of 12 people killed in last year's terror attack at a Berlin Christmas market said they have been "left in the lurch" by the German chancellor. They said she has never expressed personal condolences.
Potsdam's Christmas market was hurriedly cleared as the bomb squad disabled a suspicious package nearby. Police are trying to determine whether the object was a real explosive device or a dummy.
