The Raspberry Pi Mini-Computer

December 23, 2013

British developers have come up with an affordable mini-computer. It's about the size of a credit card. The Raspberry Pi comes complete with a network interface and a USB hub. You can use the device to mix cocktails, play arcade games or create music.

The Raspberry Pi was created by a British charitable foundation to help promote the study of computer science -- especially in schools. And it's been a big success. Since the Pi first hit the market in May 2012, more than 1.5 million have been sold. People who come up with new ways to use the Pi have been posting their innovations on various video portals.
