The International Monetary Fund expects the US economy to go into recession this year. The group also cut its forecast for world growth by half a percent to three point eight percent. And it said there is a 25 percent chance global growth could drop below three percent. Meanwhile, there was good news for the German economy. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the OECD, has kept its forecast unchanged for the country's economic growth this year. But in a special report on Germany, the organisation did urge Chancellor Angela Merkel's government to continue reforming the economy.
