After a landmark deal in Paris, countries now have to cut carbon emissions. Some communities in Germany are beginning to produce their own green power in a drive for greater self-sufficiency. That’s tougher in places like France, where power, both in energy production and politics, has long been centralized. From western Brittany’s Finistere region, Lisa Bryant reports that’s changing.
