Thai Army Torture People in South: Amnesty

The Thai army and police regularly use torture in the counter-insurgency operation against suspected Muslim insurgents in the south, a report by Amnesty International said on Tuesday. The London-based group has exposed at least 34 documented cases, four of which resulted in the death of the victim. The group has called on the government to clarify its legal stance on the practice.
