Four people have died and another 20 are injured after an attack outside the British parliament. A suspected terrorist drove a car into a crowd of people on Westminster Bridge, then the attacker stabbed a police officer before being shot.
Police said an improvised explosive device caused a fire in a tube car that injured 22 individuals. Prime Minister May has scheduled an emergency cabinet meeting in the wake of the UK's fifth terror attack this year.
An alleged assailant has been shot after stabbing a policeman outside the British parliament. There were also reports of a car plowing into several people on Westminster Bridge.
Armed police fired a stun gun at a man they said was acting suspiciously near the Carriage Gates entrance to parliament. Three months ago five people were killed in a terror attack nearby.
Londoners and visitors joined in solidarity in a vigil on Trafalgar Square to commemorate the victims of a terrorist attack near the British Parliament. The violence claimed four lives and left some 40 people injured.
