Terror Trials in Germany

In a landmark first conviction in the Sep.11, 2001 terrorist attacks case, a court in Hamburg has sentenced Mounir el Motassadeq to 15 years in prison on charges including accessory to murder and membership in a terrorist organization among others. A second high-profile trial is underway in Frankfurt, where four Algerians are accused of plotting to bomb a Christmas market in Strasbourg, France.
