Insustry giants have long claimed fair production of hardware was impossible. But now two European start-ups have dared to make a foray into sustainable IT. The Dutch Fairphone is said to be environmentally friendlier and produced under better working conditions than its rivals. The inventor of the Fair Mouse, Susanne Jordan, makes sure two thirds of her production takes place in Germany.
