29/04/09April 29, 2009

Global concerns grew on Wednesday over the plight of an estimated 50,000 Tamil civilians still trapped between the lines in Sri Lanka’s northeastern region of Mullaitivu, where the military has cornered the Tamil Tiger rebels in an area of only about five square kilometres.
