The country will choose a new president on Saturday in a final runoff between Samura Kamara and Julius Maada Bio following a delay instigated by fraud allegations from the ruling party.
Samura Kamara, the losing All People's Congress presidential candidate, will dispute the Sierra Leone election results. Kamara narrowly lost the presidency to Julius Maada Bio of the Sierra Leone People's Party.
It's been over three months since flash floods and a mudslide in Freetown, Sierra Leone, left 1,141 dead or reported missing. Of the 6,000 persons affected, many continue to live in temporary shelters.
