The World Health Organization reports that Yemen's cholera outbreak has infected more than 500,000 people since April. Nearly 2,000 people have died.
Just one German city made it to the top 10 in the Economist Intelligence Unit's Global Liveability Report. The city scored a perfect score for its health care and its infrastructure.
One cause for the rapid spread of the disease is when people with bleeding gums share a drink with others, using the same cup. Those who test positive and tell their families are often stigmatized.
