We see how the country's dominant Catholic religion influences how the Christmas Eve meal is prepared. Traditionally December 24 marks the end of fasting during Advent with a "vigil" meal - which consists of 12 meatless dishes. That means quite a lot of cooking - so we got in on a traditional festive meal in Poznan.
