In the past four weeks, four giant power-generating wind turbines in Germany have either toppled over or experienced broken rotary blades. Now the question is: How safe are wind turbines really?
Police in Germany managed to salvage a pizza order after a traffic accident in Baden-Württemberg. Both drivers involved in the crash suffered serious injuries, but the Italian food was found unscathed.
After meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif, Sigmar Gabriel said Germany would resist any questioning of the deal. Zarif also commented on the US travel ban, but human rights issues went unmentioned.
Germany has measures on the books to close all of the country's nuclear reactors by 2022. Although a majority of people in Germany oppose nuclear power, there are conflicting views on just how to phase it out entirely.
