Julien Breton of France is a light calligrapher who combines the age-old art of "beautiful writing" with a 21st century approach. In fact, he considers his art as both a physical and cultural means of expression. He calls himself Kaalam - which literally means "words" in Arabic - and he makes those words shine with meaning.
