Michael Schumacher captured the German Grand Prix Sunday, equaling his own record of 11 victories in a season and accelerating towards his seventh Formula One championship. The Ferrari driver cruised to a comfortable victory, beating Jenson Button by 8.3 seconds. Schumacher, who has won all but one race this season, waved to his fans throughout his victory lap. "It was fantastic to win this race at home," he said. With six races left in the season, Schumacher leads with 110 points. His teammate Rubens Barrichello is second at 74, and Button third at 61.
