Saarbrücken: City with ‘Saarvoir Vivre’

The Sankt Johanner Markt can be found in the heart of town. Cafés and restaurants ring the market square. The Saarland is famous for its food and its state capital is no exception. Here you can find everything from hearty, regional specialties to French-influenced haute cuisine. But Saarbrücken also has much else to offer, including its Baroque old town and chateau, and the Ludwig Church -- the city's landmark.
