Murdoch and Hall to marry

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to former supermodel Jerry Hall. The couple made their announcement after four months of dating in a classified advertisement.

The couple announced their marriage in the classifieds section of "The Times" newspaper, which is owned by Murdoch's News Corporation.

The advertisement read: "Mr. Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger, are delighted to announce their engagement."

Murdoch, 84, and Hall, 59, made their relationship public when they appeared together in October at the Rugy World Cup Final in London. Their engagement was made soon after during the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.

"They have loved these past months together, are thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future," a spokesperson for the Murdoch family said.

Murdoch has six children from three previous marriages, while Hall has four children with Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger.
