The Islamic State terrorist militias don’t respect borders. Every day IS rockets are fired from Syria towards Turkey. People who have fled to Turkish border towns to escape war and violence continue to live in fear of their lives.
The Uzbek national has confessed to firing indiscriminately at a crowd of revelers at a famous nightclub in Istanbul. He claimed a Russian operative of the "Islamic State" militant group ordered him to commit the attack.
The Iraqi premier has announced the defeat of "Islamic State" (IS) after months of fighting to uproot the militant group. But European authorities have warned that its ideology still remains a threat to global security.
State interior ministers have agreed that the current ban on deporting Syrians back to their native country will remain in force for at least another year. Some states had proposed ending the ban in mid-2018.
German authorities have released six young Syrians suspected of being members of the "Islamic State" due to the lack of evidence. Prosecutors had had reason to believe they were planning an imminent terror attack.
