Rick Santorum routinely emphasizes his strong faith in god and considers it the pillar of his political life. His positions are archconservative and espouse Christian fundamentalism.

It is Rick Santorum's second try after losing to Mitt Romney in the last Republican presidential primary race. The ultraconservative Republican cites his Catholic faith as one of the pillars of his political convictions. Santorum has questioned the theory of evolution and strongly opposes abortion and homosexuality. Santorum says he would look out for blue-collar Americans if elected.
