Beethoven is huge in my life and I've been maintaining a daily blog about his life and works: Hope to make the Beethovenfest someday! -- Ed, US

I have loved Beethoven since the first time I heard his music. It is difficult to say which are my favorite works but maybe Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Symphony No. 3 'Eroica' and Piano Sonata No. 23 'Appassionata.' Particularly I like this version, Parahia - Haitink, Hogwood with AAM and Afred Brendel, respectively. -- Javier, Colombia

Beethoven is definitely my favorite composer. My mother was born in Germany and I grew up hearing classical music. I love his music because it stimulates my senses and expands my mind. For me, no other composer has been able to express such beauty and majesty in all of his works. I never tire of listening to him. I have now passed my love of Beethoven to my six-year-old granddaughter whose favorite is Symphony No. 9. I could go on and on, but his music speaks for itself. -- Lily, US

This is a great place to share and remember Beethoven, long live Beethoven! -- Isabel, Mexico

As mezzo soprano I sang the Ninth Symphony for 25 years until I had surgery in my vocal cords. So, I appreciated indeed your lovely gift. It means a lot to me. It is a wonderful idea, allowing us to enjoy Beethoven's genius. -- Blue, US
