Pulse: Gaining asylum in Israel

A man called Mutasim Ali is the first Sudanese person to be recognized as a refugee by the Israeli government. He's also a leader of the asylum seeker community. His victory could mark an important step in a country where asylum seekers are kept in legal limbo and their requests often not heard, let alone granted.
