About 50 students occupied the editorial offices of the tageszeitung newspaper in Berlin on Monday as part of continuing protests against proposed university budget cuts. The occupying students demanded the front page and other sections of the left-wing paper’s Tuesday edition to display their concerns and protests, according to a source at the newspaper. The negotiations went on for most of the morning while students continued to hold the employees’ computer mice hostage.
