Volkswagen’s Polo family has grown again - the newcomer is the 103 kW Blue GT

It occupies the niche between the most powerful normal Polo that produces 132 kW of power and the 132 kW GTI. What’s striking about the BlueGT is the relation between dynamics and efficiency. The best part is the 1.4 liter TSI engine featuring Active Cylinder Management, which enables two of the four cylinders to shut down automatically. The Blue GT is reputed to need an average of 4.6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. That’s almost half a liter less than the 1.2 TSI, whose performance is also lower.
