Premiere Said to Pay €373 Million for Bundesliga Matches

Premiere, Germany's only pay- television channel, paid
€373 million ($457 million) to air the matches of the next two seasons of the Bundesliga soccer league, the Financial Times Deutschland reported on Thursday. The paper said the price includes €18 million for the rights to broadcast German cup matches for the next three years. Premiere and the soccer league are still discussing moving the Bundesliga's two Sunday matches to Friday, according to the Financial Times.
