American-born entertainer Helen Schneider has called Germany's capital Berlin home for the past 18 months. The 55-year-old can boast nearly three decades in show business, rising to prominence in the 70s and 80s as a rock singer. She landed her biggest hit in 1982 with "Rock 'n' Roll Gypsy". Since then she's starred in a number of Broadway musicals and also appeared in German stage productions.
