When companies come under fire on social network websites, most have nobody trained to deal with the onslaught. Social media consultant Christian Scherg and his team at the Düsseldorf firm Revolvermänner decided to create a tool that simulates such situations.
The simulator helps those running social media sites to train for on-screen attacks. The coaching happens in real time, and is later evaluated by experienced online crisis managers. The workshops involve up to six members of staff, and cost around €900.
