OECD Predicts 0.5 Percent Euro Zone Growth

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) predicted growth of just 0.5 percent in the euro zone in the coming year. The euro zone remains a "weak point" in the world economy, OECD General Secretary Donald Johnston told a European Parliament meeting in Strasbourg. While most indictors in the United States point upward, he said, the expectations for an increase in economic activity in the euro zone remains improbable.
