Chinese and South Korean state media have confirmed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Kim told Xi his regime was "committed to denuclearization" ahead of talks with the US.
South Korea has said the US and North Korea must find common ground if talks can go ahead. President Trump said he was open to talks but only if the conditions were right, meaning the North agreeing to denuclearization.
