German law enforcement agencies do not see an increased risk of terror attacks in the country as U.S. officials have raised their terror alert to “high,” the second highest level. A spokesman for the German ministry of the interior said that no specific intelligence information on an increased threat to U.S. citizens or U.S. institutions in Germany existed, either. The spokesman added that security measures at German airports already were at a high level. “It’s the best we can do,” he said.
