New Mini Drives BMW To Profit

The BMW Group reported profits again in November thanks to sales of the new Mini. The Group announced on Monday that it delivered four percent more vehicles than in October 2002, a total of 85,100. Excluding sales of the Mini though, BMW's turnover dropped in November by 4.6 percent to 71,500 vehicles. In the first eleven months of 2002 the BMW Group's turnover has already been 17 percent above the value for November 2001 at 976,300 units sold. Last year BMW delivered 880,700 cars and motorcycles.
