Myanmar has reached a landmark ceasefire agreement with a number of smaller minority groups. It's hoped the agreement will end more than six decades of fighting and boost growth in one of the region's poorest nations.
A Rohingya rebel group says 10 Rohingya Muslims found in a mass grave in December were not its members. The Myanmar military has admitted to killing the 10 people, claiming they were militants.
With a ceasefire set to expire, Colombia's government and ELN guerrillas are pushing for a peace deal. The outcome of talks will have a major impact in the country and could even decide the presidential election.
The UN has announced that Antonio Guterres will travel to Colombia this weekend to discuss the state of peace talks. These have been temporarily broken off after ELN rebels staged attacks when a ceasefire expired.
The two leaders agreed on a deal to bring Russian ceasefire observers back to eastern Ukraine. The Kremlin has accused Kyiv of obstructing their officers' work in Donbass and cutting them off from the front line.
