MIT is the name of a young German band from Cologne that is making waves in the UK and Japan with its Kraftwerkesque blend of synth pop and German lyrics. Band members Tamer Özgönenec, Edi Winarni and Felix Römer produced their new album "Nanonotes" in London. And they got some help from former Kraftwerk member Emil Schult. We caught up with the band during a gig at Transmediale, the Berlin festival devoted to electronic and experimental music.
