We speak with the head of Berlin's Hearing Center about acute and chronic middle ear infections. What triggers them, how can they be treated, and what complications can develop?
Our studio guest Dr. Parwis Mir-Salim
Bed bugs often follow you home from a trip. One's enough to start an infestation. The gruesome gate crashers leave itchy bites, but don't transmit disease. It takes a pest control specialist to get rid of them.
Scabies mites cause skin rashes and itching, and bad hygiene has little to do with it. The microscopic parasites love clean skin as well. But a special cream can wipe them out.
Cloves, salt water and ice packs can all bring short-term relief from toothache. Dentists advise against using onions and alcohol though. And in serious cases, a visit to the dentist is inevitable.
