Edith Kimani is the East Africa correspondent for DW. A self-confessed lover of elephants, she has been a journalist for the past seven years, both as a television news anchor for KTN and a field reporter.
She has covered stories in the region ranging from human interest to green revolutions. At the World Economic Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, Edith moderated a session on smart energy.
She believes that as the world is talking more seriously about the environment, this is the right time for eco@africa.
