The landscapes look idyllic and dynamic. Windblown dunes move across the planet, centimeter-by-centimeter. Until now, no one believed Mars’s atmosphere could generate this type of weather. Scientists have also found huge reserves of water in the form of ice. Much of it is below the surface, but there are also huge deposits on it. It’s estimated that if all the ice melted, the Red Planet would be covered in a layer of water 11 meters thick. Tomorrow Today shows the latest images from Mars.
