Most Germans are hooked up to the Internet, a joint study by German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF found. Some 53 percent of Germans are connected to the Internet. Not surprisingly, it’s the young who spend the most time surfing the Net, whiile older Germans lag in connectivity. Around 92 percent of Internet users are between 14 and 19 years of age, whereas a mere 13 percent of over-60s have an Internet connection, the study said.
