Describing it as a musical travelogue, musician Paul McCartney says each song on his new album, Egypt Station, explores a different area. He just released two songs from the upcoming work.
Egypt is building a new capital from scratch. It's just one of a number of mega projects pursued by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. The new capital is expected to house up to seven million people, along with government offices, embassies and businesses on 700 square kilometers (about 270 square miles). But who can afford to live in this new city?
Egypt has long worried that Ethiopia's planned Grand Renaissance Dam will cut its share of the Nile River. Both countries tried to put fears of a water war to rest at a bilateral meeting in Cairo.
