When the NGO Germanwatch was set up 25 years ago, climate change was not yet on the mainstream political agenda. A quarter of a century on, bringing about the transition to a renewable energy future is one of the key issues in the organization's fight to overcome the gap between wealthy, industrialized countries and developing nations.
