Road transport is a major contributor of Europe's greenhouse gas emissions, which is why a number of European cities are becoming ever more bike-friendly. As far as urban cycling goes, northern Europe is the frontrunner, but the city of Strasbourg isn't lagging far behind. Recently, the city again topped the list as France's number one bike city.
