The Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg has created a tiny version of the city of Venice. The human figures are just a few millimeters tall, but look like they're moving -- due to some technical wizardry.
The lagoon city is the new highlight of the world's largest model railway complex in Hamburg's Speicherstadt. From 21 February, the miniature gondolas will run through the canals of little Venice in Bella Italia.
The world's largest model railway can be found in Hamburg's Speicherstadt district. Through a survey by the National Tourist Board, foreign visitors voted it Germany's most popular tourist destination.
