Anouk Schmitt has two paralyzed legs and is confined to a wheelchair. But she may learn how to walk again with a walking robot. Her dream is to stand before her partner Lukas at eyelevel.

Anouk Schmitt is only 24 years old. But a serious illness paralyzed both her legs and confined her to a wheelchair. An exoskeleton could help her regain some independence. Her doctors agree the walking robot could even contribute to slowing muscle loss and stabilizing her circulation.
