Kick it like: Daniele

September 25, 2008

It was a home match for Daniele and his friends on the marketplace of Manarola. Every day they play football here in front of the old church. Every day they reenact the games of their favorite team, ”Inter”.

Daniele:
My name is Daniele Capellini, I’m 13 years old and I’m crazy about football.

Pietro:
I'm Pietro. I live here in in Manarola.

Luca:
My name is Luca. I live in La Spezia, the next town in Liguria.

Marco:
My name is Marco Barrani and I’m his brother. I live wherever he lives.

Luca:
We play here because we like the square and we don’t play all that badly.
We play in the morning, the afternoon and the evening – always actually.
He is our best player and he’s the best shot.

Daniele:
I’d like to play for Inter Milan and be better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
I think Italy lost at the Euro because they didn’t show the same character, strength and dedication as they did at the World Cup 2006. Luca Toni was a disaster.

Daniele, Luca, Pietro und Marco:
Greetings from Manarola!
